The Grinder, by High Voltage Software (makers of The Conduit) will be a first-person-shooter survival horror game. It makes use of the Quantum3 engine, the same one used for The Conduit. This is an early screenshot of IN-GAME play.

From the looks of this screencap, you'll be able to dual-wield weapons. Also, High Voltage has stated that The Grinder will be able to have more onscreen enemies than any other Wii game thanks to the Quantum3 engine that was built from the ground up by the company specifically to squeeze as much performance from the Wii as possible. To me, it looks like a Left 4 Dead "clone", but I use that term loosely. It looks to me like it will be different enough to not be a complete rip off of L4D. The game will feature online multiplayer as well as the ability to play campaign levels in online co-op, a first for any Wii game. The Grinder will also support Wii Speak and Wii Motion Plus for more advanced control schemes. I cannot convey in words how incredibly excited I am for this game. I just hope it's not an overhyped disapointment like The Conduit.
