This makes Wii Sports Resort the third-fastest selling Wii title; Mario Kart sold over 600,000 copies and Super Smash Bros. Brawl sold over 800,000 copies in a similar time frame.

The game will use the newly released Wii Motion Plus attachment, which promises more accurate motion detection. EA's Grand Slam Tennis was the first game compatible with the device.
